Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security, Palgrave Frimpong Boakye Danquah says President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has done his part in the fight against corruption in the country.
According to him, he has not seen a government in the 4th Republic that has been so head-on like President Akufo-Addo in his desire to fight corruption.
He mentioned the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) to back his claim and also said government institutions like CHRAJ and EOCO also doing their best to support eradicate corruption from the system.
Speaking to the media monitored by @onokwafoasiedu, the aspiring parliamentary candidate of the NPP in the Abuakwa North constituency said there are a lot more successes that the Akufo Addo government has chopped when it comes to fighting against corruption that need to be highlighted.
Mr. Boakye Danquah said all reported cases of corruption that have been recorded under this government have been referred to various authorities by the President for investigation.
“It’s a very good step in the right direction for the President and the executive arm of government to see to it that corruption becomes a thing of the old and corruption-related activities are not attracted to any well-meaning Ghanaian” he added.
