Elvis Manu joins FC Groningen on Loan

The 29-year-old Ghanaian winger has sealed his loan switch to the Dutch top-flight outfit until the end of the current campaign on the transfer deadline day.  

Dutch-born Ghanaian winger-forward Elvis Manu has completed his transfer loan move to Dutch Eredivisie side FC Groningen from Bulgarian elite side Botev Plovdiv for the remainder of the ongoing football season.

The talented attacking forward is having a vast experience in the Dutch top-flight contest having had stints with Feyenoord Rotterdam, SC Cambuur and Go Ahead Eagle at the summit of the Netherlands football competition.
“FC Groningen has attracted Elvis Manu.

The attacker is on loan from the Bulgarian Botev Plovdiv for the rest of this season. The 29-year-old Manu previously played in the Eredivisie for Feyenoord, SC Cambuur and Go Ahead Eagles,” a  statement over Manu’s signing reads.

Before switching to FC Groningen, the former Brighton man featured in 14 league games, scoring 7 and assisting 4 for Botev Plovdiv in the Bulgarian efbet Liga 22/23 football campaign.

Manu is still eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Netherlands national youth teams.
