Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is always in hurry to condemned policies and development programmes from his close rivals John Dramani Mahama. The idea to speak to the facts of policies and without given alternative is missing in all his submission anytime he have the platform.
Looking at his perspective to the 24 hour economy, he believes he has missed the plots by creating an impression as if he owns and know much about the economic proposal coming from John Dramani Mahamah, without any evidence under the policy which is yet to be roll out officially when National Democratic Congress (NDC) comes to power.
The Executive Secretary of ADAM GH Azubila Emmanuel Salam Abdul said he cannot even identify the economic policy in the NPP manifesto pointing to the fact the government of New Patriotic Party can attest to the 24hour economy.
He reiterated that, Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia must be discourage in creating unnecessary tension in the country on his religious and ethnic cards he is adopting as a campaign tool to win the hearts and minds of the Muslim and the Northerners.
He opined that Ghana has witness a Northern President in a person of late, Dr. Hilla Limann late Vice president Aliu Mahamah and this is the first time we are seeing a Northerner to lead a political party.
He is of the view that, introducing these religious and ethnic cards cannot be considered as a campaign message. In Ghana Christians and Muslim coexist and must be guarded jealously very well and be careful as a country not to use politics to divide the country.
Speaking on the same platform, the New Patriotic Party Communication team member Alhaji Kadel Taylor, 24hour economy must be anchor on money and effective policy direction to bring jobs opportunity into the economy.
There is a need for the leaders to give an insight into the policy for clarity and how it’s going to be roll out. This he said can help to know which state institutions are going to benefits from the policy.
