Dormaa Ahenkro has not felt the impacts of the ministerial role of Kwaku Agyemang Manu – NDC Parliamentary Candidate

The Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress in the Dormaa Central constituency of the Bono region, Hon. John Adu Jack has said the Dormaa Central Member of parliament who doubles as Thana’s Health Minister, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu has not lived up to expectations as demanded by the people in the constituency.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the media, he noted that Hon Kwaku Agyemang Manu being a cabinet minister has not been able to use his ministerial position to lobby for the construction of some deplorable roads within the Dormaa Central constituency which he said is a clear indication that he is a failure.

He said it is time for Dormaa central Constituents to change their voting pattern by voting for the NDC for effective development.

Reacting to how people compare him being a parliamentary candidate to the Dormaa Central MP, he indicated that it is highly wrong and unfair for people to compare a parliamentary candidate to a member of parliament and a cabinet minister. He said if there should be any form of comparing the two, it should be based on the contribution of Kwaku Agyemang Manu when he wasn’t made a member of parliament and a minister rather than comparing his tenure in parliament to someone who has not been to parliament house and without any ministerial/ political appointment.

Explaining his argument, he said MPs and ministers have a lot of influence in developing their constituencies hence people should only compare him (John Adu Jack) to Kwaku Agyemang based on their contribution to the growth of Dormaa Central only when they were not holding any government appointment.

He therefore entreated the people of Dormaa Ahenkro to consider the the lack of development in the several years given to NPP and change their voting pattern to ensure that Hon. John Adu Jack and the NDC have been massively voted for in this year’s general election for a sounding victory.

He indicated that when he wins the elections together with John Mahama, he will ensure the needed developmental projects are channeled to Dormaa Ahenkro and its surrounding communities.
