The overlord of Dagbon Traditional Council Yaa-Naa Abubakari Mahama II has called on the NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to conduct a clean campaign in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says former President John Dramani Mahama does not understand the 24-hour economy policy he is proposing.
According to the Vice President, that policy is already being implemented in the country, as hospitals, and fuel companies, among others, operate a 24-hour system.
Dr. Bawumia, therefore, urged Ghanaians to ignore Mahama during the 2024 polls since he has nothing new to offer and vote for the New Patriotic Party.
Yaa-Naa Abubakari Mahama II asked Dr. Bawumia to view John Mahama as a brother who also desires the best for the country.
Speaking through his interpreter during a visit by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Yaa-Naa Abubakari Mahama II stressed the importance of a free and fair election in 2024.
