Nigerian actress Blessing Obasi Nze has opened up about the harsh online criticism she faced after marrying fellow actor Stan Nze, revealing that trolls targeted her appearance and questioned their relationship.
Speaking about the experience, Blessing disclosed that she was heavily mocked on their first wedding anniversary because of her teeth. According to her, some social media users even told her to stop smiling in public because of her dentition.
She also addressed the long-running claims that she is much older than her husband. Blessing said when Stan Nze first shared her photo on social media, many people insisted she looked at least 10 years older than him. Others even claimed their relationship was staged for a movie because they could not believe the actor had genuinely married her.
The actress further revealed that the couple also had to deal with misinformation after one of her husband’s interviews. She said Stan Nze’s comments were taken out of context and twisted on social media, leading to unnecessary speculation and criticism.
Despite the online attacks, Blessing Obasi Nze and Stan Nze have remained focused on their marriage, choosing not to let public opinions define their relationship.
