Nigeria’s biggest reality television show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), officially premiered its 11th season on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with organisers unveiling a record-breaking grand prize of ₦160 million for the eventual winner.
The new season, hosted by popular television personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, is themed “Everything Is For The Taking,” setting the stage for weeks of intense competition, drama, and entertainment as housemates battle for the coveted prize.
According to the organisers, the increased prize money is the highest in the history of the reality television show, underscoring its growing popularity and influence across Africa.
Viewers can follow the contestants’ daily activities through the show’s 24-hour live broadcast on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49, while the weekly live eviction shows are expected to keep audiences engaged throughout the season.
Since its debut, Big Brother Naija has grown into one of Africa’s most-watched reality television programmes, launching the careers of several entertainers, entrepreneurs, and social media influencers. The show continues to attract millions of viewers across the continent each season.
