‘Bawumia doesn’t have what it takes to deepen crisis in the NDC – Mustapha Gbande

The Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Mustapha Gbande has said, Dr Bawumia do not have what it takes to deepen cracks in the NDC.

He reiterated that, he never said it anywhere that Dr Bawumia is creating conflict within the NDC.

Reacting to a Daily Guide publication on Page 3, Tuesday 16, 2024 with the headline, “Bawumia Deepens NDC cracks” on ‘Adekye Mu Nsem hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu airborne on Ahotor FM (92.3), he said that, if Bawumia has what it takes he should resolve conflicts in his own political party.

“I never said it anywhere, how can Bawumia deepen our cracks? If he has the potency to deepen anybody’s crack, why is he not resolving his own conflict in his own political party.
Is it not Bawumia who led a deceitful and dishonest agenda that, he’s championing one village, one dam which he squandered the money world bank gave to support us together with Hawa Koomson?”

The Daily Guide newspaper reported, “Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic (NDC), Mustapha Gbande is accusing the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of attempting to create conflict within tge oppostion party.
He is alleging that Dr Bawumia visits NDC party executives clandestinely in an attempt to convince them to support him in his quest to capture political power in the 2024 elections”.

The Paper report that, Mr Gbande’s comment come after Northern Regional Treasurer, Hajia Razak Shamima and the Regional Vice Chairman, Mr Gbewa allegedly traded blows at the party’s office over party funds on January 14, 2024.
