(Audio): Our conversations have been lovely, winning 2024 is on course- chairman Ashie Moore assures

Greater Accra regional chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who is the former Member of Parliament for Adentan constituency in the Greater Accra region, Hon Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore has assured the party supporters in the region, with his good relationship with the immediate past regional chairman, Hon Ade Coker, hence, winning the 2024 general elections in the region is on course.


According to him, chairman Ade Coker’s administration inherited only thirteen seats for the party in the region and through hard working and determination, they increased it by seven in the 2020 elections, hence the current administration cannot do without the former chairman.


Speaking to the media in a stakeholder meeting at the party office, with the aim of bringing everyone on board especially those who lost through the internal elections last year, chairman Ashie Moore said even though, the former chairman could not make it to the meeting, he had a conversation with him and it went on well for both to increase NDC seats in the region come 2024.


“I’ve had a meeting with the immediate past chairman, chairman Ade Coker proud to this important gathering and he is on a private visit to UK, and he has sent his apology and will support the party in all means”, he said.


The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Ade Coker has lost his bid to retain his position.


In his bid to retain his seat, 222 votes and winner, Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore polled 327.


Mr Ashie Moore is a former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Adentan constituency.
The elections took place on Sunday, November 13, at the Tema Sports Stadium.
