The Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Arko Gunn has said that the Electoral Commission, the Judiciary Service, and President Akufo are in a plot to mess things up in the upcoming 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
Speaking on Adekye Mu Nsem on Ahotor 92.3, Mr. Arko Gunn added that the electoral commission wants to disenfranchise the citizens of Ghana from voting come 2024.
He said the electoral commission was just not ready for the exercise as most of their machines were not even working at the beginning of the registration exercise, above all, the commission was not able to meet its own target.
On his side, Hassan Ayariga, founder and leader of the All Peoples Congress Party (APC) has said that the electoral commission is determined to frustrate and deny Ghanaians from voting in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary election.
He explains further that the electoral commission should heed the advice of major stakeholders in election management and stop the registration until all is set.
He said they are wasting time and resources knowing very well they are not ready.
