Asante Kotoko have sealed the deal on 21-year-old forward Dogo Yakubu, who joins the Porcupine Warriors from MidCity Football Academy on a Three and half-year contract.
Dogo, known for his blazing speed, intelligent movement, and clinical finishing, is expected to make a splash in the second half of the season.
“I’m still young, and I believe I have a huge chance here to make a name for myself,” Dogo said. “Joining Kotoko is a big opportunity for my career, and I’m grateful for the trust the club has shown in me.”
Coach Karim Zito sees Dogo as a key part of Kotoko’s long-term plans. “This signing is part of our plan for the future. Dogo is young, hungry, and has the qualities we look for in a modern striker,” Zito said.
Dogo could make his debut against Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday, January 18, in the Ghana Premier League.
