Former Chief Justice of the Republic, Her Ladyship Justice Sophia Akuffo is expressing concern over some conduct of the Judiciary in handling cases.
According to her, the judicial process is not a political one hence the urgent need to be circumspect in dealing with cases involving politicians.
Speaking to the media in Accra, Madam Sophia Akuffo noted that the judicial process is not a political one and so if something is going on and they’re attacking it it should be attacked on a procedural or substantive law basis rather than impression.
“it become too predictable in this country if it involves somebody from a certain political party. I think the politicians should be a bit more circumspect in what they say” she added.
