Ghanaian dancehall sensation Aklerh, known as one of the fastest-rising stars in the music scene, recently shared the necessity of changing her contact information just two weeks after the release of her Dancehall Queen EP.
During an interview on Ahotor 92.3 FM‘s Open Box Show with Mr. Forreal, Aklerh disclosed that the overwhelming number of calls she received following the EP’s release prompted her decision to change her contact details.
Born Zebulun Aklerh Ocansey, Aklerh unveiled her highly anticipated ‘Dancehall Queen’ EP at The Backyard in East Legon, Accra, on Friday, April 19, 2024. The EP features six tracks delving into themes such as life, love, and relationships.
Produced by Cashtwo and Jeph Green, the EP includes tracks such as ‘Dancehall Queen,’ ‘Bad Mind’ featuring Yaw Grey and Ennwai of Dobble, and ‘Body Good’ featuring Yaw Grey. Other tracks in the collection include ‘Odo,’ ‘Bra (Gbodom),’ and ‘Kingman Ting.’
The listening party, organized by Revolution Records, provided industry insiders with the opportunity to immerse themselves in Aklerh’s music and engage with her on a personal level.
The ‘Dancehall Queen’ EP is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, Audiomack, Deezer, and Tidal, showcasing Aklerh’s talent and cementing her presence in the music industry.
