MLS Cup: Ghanaian Midfielder Yaw Yeboah Sparkles as Columbus Crew Clinch Eastern Conference Title
Ghana midfielder Yaw Yeboah produced an impressive display as Columbus Crew secured a 3-2 comeback victory over Cincinnati in the MLS Eastern Conference finals.
The 26-year-old bossed the midfield with magnificent authority as the Gold and Black pulled off a stunning comeback from behind victory over FC Cincinnati.
Yeboah lasted 76 minutes for Columbus Crew who returned for the second half trailing 2-0.
However, with 15 minutes remaining, Columbus Crew bounced back after Alvas Powell directed a cross into his own net before Diego Rossi leveled to force the game into extra-time
Christian Ramirez scored the winner with five minutes left in extra-time.
Columbus Crew will now face holders Los Angeles FC in the final of the MLS Cup.
The Ghanaian international has been a key figure for the MLS side this season after scoring 3 goals, with 5 assists in 36 appearances.
