The Majority leader in parliament Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu has lost the credibility and the test and respect to lead government business in parliament.
His stature as the figure to look up to chart a path in rallying the business of parliament for national development; in recent times his skills and leadership is turn to be chaotic and misleading his colleagues in parliament.
The former ambassador to India Hon. Ambassador Sam P Yalley said this on Adekye Mu Nsem morning show on Ahotor 92.3 FM hosted by Citizen Kofi Owusu in Accra.
He is of the view that, according to current parliamentary arrangement there is no majority or minority in Ghanaian parliament according to government business.
The Ambassador is of the view that, we have hang parliament and the state of the country in the political history of Ghana he expect the Hon. Kyei Mensah to show leadership, and stop been arrogant, and speak to the truth in all arguments and discourage spinning of facts.
He opined that, seeing defeat openly on the parliamentary floors on the debate going on in parliament he seeks to unnecessary tricks walking out of parliament.
Historically boycotting of their own 2024 budget is bizarre and unfortunate. He can attest to the fact that the budget is empty and cannot live to address the challenges confronting the country.
He further stated that the thievery going in the government, the debt portfolio of the country does not find space in the 2024 budget.
Ambassador said the NPP leadership in parliament does not have the capacity to leads the party in parliament, especially with the policy directions and parliamentary business.
He uses the platform to call on the leadership of the Madina Constituency and all the party officers in the area to bury their differences and work hard to win the seat back. He decry that, there is a need for the party to desist from the strategy of division NPP is using to break their fronts to work hard as a team to with more votes for the flag bearer John Dramani Mahama
