Ghanaian actress and TV Personality, Xandy Kamel has disclosed in an interview with Delay that he sponsored the wedding she had with the Sports Presenter, Kaninja.
The two entered into a relationship while working together atABN Media and within 4 to 6 months they were preparing for their wedding which eventually came to pass.
But unfortunately, their controversial marriage couldn’t stand and started falling apart.
” Kaninja was already a staff there when I started working at Angel Tv, and funny enough, I never even watched his way but it happened…it took two months to be together”
According to her, she funded more than half of the wedding expenses, including acquiring the rings, her husband’s suit, and other bills even after the wedding.
She explained, “I bought both rings and made one of my uncles buy the wedding and then send it to Ghana for him. So it feels like I married him. That is why I am the only one who can end it… I married him because I did everything; he only came in as a man that I respected…but I made it look like he did it.”
She said several cheating exploits of her ex-husband, being cyberbullied and body –chastened having her fall into depression after her failed marriage and also the death of her first child.
She added that she has since been to Therapy after the failed marriage and received assistance in helping her recover from the traumatic experience she went through.
