Ghanaian veteran actor and comedian, Kofi Adu, better known as Agya Koo, has uttered his dissatisfaction over the poor state of the road in his area notwithstanding his devoted support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2016 and 2020 general elections

Agya Koo disclosed that he actively campaigned for the NPP, even during the crowning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020
He is faced with the challenges of a poorly maintained road in his area, in contrast to the well-kept roads in more affluent neighbourhoods.
”It’s sad to feel left out when others are having fun. I also reside at Hill Top, but when I see where important people live, I notice that there are still plots of land with no buildings yet, but their roads are already paved”.
“But some of us living in some areas, go and look at the nature of our roads and how dust is killing us, just go and look at it. For this government to come to power I was part. The places that I went to during the 2016 elections. At the height of COVID-19 in 2020, I and my boys were risking our lives to campaign for the party,” he said in an interview with Angel FM.
He called on NPP delegates to vote for Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, in the party’s primaries, believing that Kennedy had the vision to address unemployment in the country
“I urge the party delegates to vote for Kennedy Agyapong if they want a brighter future for Ghana. Delegates need to choose a candidate who can create employment opportunities for the people. Even though accepting money from aspirants is allowed, the future of Ghana depends on the Nov 4 primaries. Therefore, if the party members know how to speak, they should vote for Kennedy Agyapong.”
”Delegates should vote for Kennedy Agyapong to create employment opportunities,” he added.
The NPP primaries are scheduled for November 4, 2023, with four candidates vying for the presidential slot.
