‘I would urge we take it easy on them and give them a chance ‘ – Sarkodie

Sarkodie, a renowned rapper from Ghana, has recently expressed the need for empathy and support for emerging talents in the entertainment sector.

Sarkodie took to his Twitter account to express empathy for the pressures young talents face as they navigate through social and traditional media platforms.

As he reflected on his journey, he recognized that in his time, artists were able to make mistakes in private and learn from them without being constantly watched by the public

He wrote ”My era coming up, we had time to make our mistakes behind cameras and at least work on our approach to this business (how to speak during interviews, stagecraft, how to deal with this industry in general) still learning but compared to These young kings coming up, they start right in front of our eyes ( social x traditional media ) they have to learn to correct mistakes at their peak …it’s a lot of pressure and sometimes affect their decisions. It’s not easy at all for them. I would urge we take it easy on them and give them a chance.”

During his tour in the United States, Sarkodie passionately appealed to the music industry and the public to support and nurture budding talents.

He recognized the struggles that young artists encounter and encouraged everyone to treat them with patience and empathy.

Sarkodie passionately encouraged everyone to allow these young talents to develop and succeed in their careers.
