The interim coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, David Ocloo has showered praises on his team for a splendid performance against Berekum Chelsea.
In an interview after the game, coach Ocloo emphasized that his team were very disciplined and played very well with their tactics and game plans.
“I think my boys worked hard and were very disciplined. I am so proud of them that they played to our plans. In football, you can control the game by possessing or can control the game by defending and we controlled the game by defending keeping ourselves compact and making sure we guild and shift, we are always compact, it’s a great game they played.”
” l was never scared of hearts going on relegation, because this is Accra Hearts of Oak and history is behind us, so I was never scared.”- he added
Hearts of Oak escaped relegation after handling a goalless draw with Berekum Chelsea at Berkum golden city park in their last match of the season.
Accra Hearts of Oak ended the 2022/23 seasons with 46 points, lying at 12th position.
