Muhsin Ertugral believe Ghana has no chance to qualify from Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Portugal and Uruguay standing favourite to book qualification.
Group H has Portugal, South Korea, Uruguay and Ghana.
Many have already considered the four-time African Cup of Nations winners Ghana as the whipping boys or likewise underdogs. And Mushin Ertugral is the latest to access Group H and offer clear picture to who makes it from the Group or otherwise.
In his assessment of the teams in the group, the Turkish gaffer believes that Portugal would make it to the quarterfinals.
“Portugal is an interesting team,”
“It was always a one-man show, years ago, in which they always had unbelievably great talents and players, but do they have the capacity to reach a certain level? I probably see them in the quarterfinals, but not over, there’s not enough in this team,” he is quoted by Goal.com
He said, Uruguay has the chance to qualify but Ghana has no little chance.
“For me Ghana have got no chance in this group, no chance”
“Uruguay maybe. Korea is interesting. They have, in the last few years, they have always started Kim Min-jae, who played for Fernebache and now plays for Napoli. He is a great, great defender, and they have many of them”
“South Korea could be a surprise in the end there,” he added.
Ghana will begin its 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay in the final group game.
