He asked that does it not surprise even the casual observer that on this particular day people engage in so much fornication, excessive alcohol intake, and recklessness. These he says should leave nobody in doubt about what this day really stands for.
Pastor Otchere, was contributing to the discussion on the effects of Valentine’s day celebration on the youth on Ahotor FM’s Mmabunu Mmre with Akyena Brantuo on Saturday 18the February, 2017.
He has argued that Valentine’s day is neither Biblical nor cultural and therefore should be stopped as it only promote evil. He further holds that everyday should be a day to show love not just 14th February.
He argues further that the Bible says everyday is a day the Lord has made and we must rejoice in it. But looking at the free for all evil on Valentine’s day it is clear evil forces are in charge of this day and we must not promote it. He concluded.
