Through a verbatim quotation, an embittered indigene in Bolgatanga at the upper east region has taken a swipe at duty bearers over the indiscriminate dumping of refuse found alongside overflown collection bin, designated in and around some stretches of the town.
The said emissary who sounded so frustrated and outraged by the revelation, chided officials for negligence of duty, as he took to his Facebook wall to register his protestations about the bedevilling situation in the Bolgatanga township.
Below is the piece, by one Ras Mubaraq Azamyua…
“Hon Regional Minister, the pictures you see here is found at the heart of Bolgatanga, just behind the Municipal Police Barracks. We have done everything possible within our capacity as Citizens not Spectators to call on the management of Zoomlion waste to as a matter of urgency see to it that the rubbish is taken away for dumping to no avail. We are pleading that if the dustbin can be moved away from it’s current location to be different place within that same vicinity it will help. We have to sometimes come out and clean the place but within a twinkle of an eye, it goes back to be the way it is. We will be glad if you could get word to the management of zoomlion to do something about it. Thank you”
