The Ahotor Academic Showdown Quiz Competition, organized by the Tema West Municipal in collaboration with Ahotor 92.3 FM, is an engaging educational initiative aimed at enhancing the academic performance of students within the Tema West Municipal area.
After weeks of exciting and intense quiz rounds, the competition has now entered its highly anticipated Round 2, also known as the Round of 12.
The pairings for this round were determined by balloting, held on Tuesday, 24th September 2024, at the Tema West Education Directorate.
The matchups promise to deliver thrilling intellectual battles as schools face off for a spot in the next round.
Here are the matchups for Round 2:
– Mexico Junior High School will face Old Lashibi TWMA Junior High on Saturday, 28th September 2024.
– Sakumono Complex ‘2’ Junior High School will take on Adjei-Kojo TWMA ‘1’ Junior High on Saturday, 5th October 2024.
– Star Junior High School will compete against Baatsona TWMA Junior High ‘A’ on Saturday, 12th October 2024.
– Sakumono TWMA Junior High School will clash with Tetteh Ocloo State School for the Deaf on Saturday, 19th October 2024.
– St. John Bosco R/C JHS will battle Kotobabi ‘2’ TWMA JHS on Saturday, 26th October 2024.
– Adjei-Kojo TWMA ‘2’ JHS will meet Sakumono Complex ‘1’ Junior High School on Saturday, 2nd November 2024.
All encounters will be broadcast live on Ahotor 92.3 FM, airing every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
