Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scores his second goal of the season for Leicester City in a draw with Sheffield Wednesday

Ghanaian teenager Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored to guide Sky Bet Championship leaders Leicester City to a 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday in the English championship.

The Sporting Lisbon loanee, scored the opener in the 23rd minute to put the Foxes on course for the maximum of three points at Hillsborough Wednesday evening.

Sheffield Wednesday’s substitute Jeff Hendrick snatched a stoppage-time equalizer to earn a draw for struggling Sheffield Wednesday who are bottom on the Championship table.

Leicester’s lead came when Stephy Mavididi sent over a cross from the left which went all the way to the unmarked Fatawu at the far post and he chested the ball down before firing past keeper Cameron Dawson.

Fatawu reacted after the game saying it was not the result they wanted but will thank the Leicester fans for the support.
