A-Plus Says Shatta Wale Is Looking Beyond O2 Arena, Sets Sights on Wembley

Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale may be setting his sights on one of the biggest concert stages in the world, if comments by outspoken supporter and Gomoa Central MP Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, are anything to go by.

Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, A-Plus claimed that the O2 Arena in London is simply not big enough for Shatta Wale’s fan base.

According to him, the 4Lyfe and ShattaMovement camps are instead considering a much bigger venue for a potential major London concert — either the iconic Wembley Stadium or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A-Plus explained that the decision not to target the O2 Arena was partly influenced by concerns about the size of Shatta Wale’s crowd.

“The reason we can’t hold a concert at the O2 is that that place is too small for us,” A-Plus said.

He went on to suggest that the enormous turnout expected at a Shatta Wale concert could create serious crowd-management challenges.

Instead, he said the team wants to explore the possibility of filling Wembley Stadium, which can accommodate tens of thousands of fans for major events, or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The claim has already generated excitement among fans of the SM boss, with many

Wondering whether Shatta Wale could become the next Ghanaian artiste to attempt such a massive UK concert.

The timing is also interesting, coming shortly after Stonebwoy made history with his sold-out BHIM Festival at OVO Arena Wembley. A-Plus congratulated Stonebwoy on the achievement while encouraging other Ghanaian musicians to pursue major international stages.

For Shatta Wale, a successful Wembley Stadium concert would represent a huge milestone and could further strengthen Ghana’s growing presence on the international music scene.

However, filling a stadium of that magnitude requires more than a huge fan base. Strong promotion, sponsorship, logistics, ticket sales and international partnerships would all be crucial to turning the ambitious plan into reality.

For now, there is no confirmed date for a ShattaWale concert at Wembley or Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But A-Plus has certainly put the idea on the table — and if the Shatta Movement can pull it off, Ghanaian entertainment could be in for another major international moment.

From O2 to Wembley? Shatta Wale’s next big move could be much bigger than anyone expected.
