The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has raised concerns about the decision by the pressure group Democracy Hub to organize a month-long demonstration throughout December.

Democracy Hub organizers of the #FixTheCountry movement and #OccupyJulorbiHouse protests – have declared their intention to picket from December 1st to 31st, 2023 at the Jubilee House to call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to resign or be impeached by Parliament.

The group, in a statement dated Monday, October 9, 2023, believes that the President has exhibited incompetence in his stewardship.

The group bemoaned the high levels of unemployment among the youth; coupled with the level of economic mismanagement that has jeopardized the future of the youth.
