Fuel prices have risen once more, with petrol now priced at GH₵14.15 per liter and diesel at GH₵14.74.

Starting April 4, 2024, petroleum consumers in the country will face increased prices due to the National Petroleum Authority’s decision to reinstate the Price Stabilization and Recovery Levy (PSRL) on petroleum products.

In a letter dated April 3, 2024, the NPA instructed a levy of 16 pesewas per liter on petrol, 14 pesewas per liter on diesel, and 14 pesewas per kilogram of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

GOIL, a State-Owned Oil Marketing Company, has already adjusted its prices accordingly, with petrol and diesel now selling at GH₵14.15 per liter. Other Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) are expected to follow suit in aligning their prices with the NPA’s directive.
