She revealed that she thought she would not survive the surgery and the painful procedures that followed.
In a new YouTube video, she spoke about how she had to go through a lumbar puncture and other painful procedures after the surgery.
She also experienced severe side effects from the pain medication, which resulted in insomnia, hallucinations, and depression.
Luckily, after conducting tests, it was discovered that she had contracted malaria during her visit to Nigeria. Ten years after the surgery, she is now healthy and grateful to be alive.
