
The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has reiterated the government’s strong dedication to overhauling Ghana’s retail trading landscape through the transformative 24-Hour Economy initiative.
At the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) National Quadrennial Conference, GIPC CEO Mr. Simon Madjie spotlighted the crucial role traders play in fueling national progress. He emphasized President John Dramani Mahama’s backing for retail sector expansion to spur economic diversification, job opportunities, and inclusive growth.
Mr. Madjie praised GUTA members for their tenacity and vital economic contributions while pledging GIPC’s ongoing collaboration to tap into new investment prospects.
Held every four years, the conference drew participants from all 16 regions and wrapped up with Clement Boateng elected as the new GUTA President.
