Former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah urges Ghana to approach the 2026 World Cup with total readiness.
“Ghana needs to prepare very well physically and psychologically,” he told Akoma FM. “Irrespective of the team, the ambition should be to win.”
Appiah stresses that fitness, focus, and belief are crucial for Ghana to compete with the best. The Black Stars will face Germany in a March friendly to test their mettle before the World Cup.
Ghana is in Group L with England, Croatia, and Panama. Appiah’s experience handling Sudan’s national team gives him insight into what it takes to succeed at the global stage.
