The Los Angeles Lakers needed overtime to get past the visiting Washington Wizards with 134 – 131 points. 40points and 15 rebounds from Anthony Davis, and 31 points from LeBron James helped the Lakers to send the game to overtime.
The Lakers started the February with a win over the league leaders Boston Celtics. James is nine points away from becoming the first NBA player in history to reach the 40,000 mark.
