Former Minister of Science and Technology under Nana Addo’s NPP government, Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has indicated that, it will be difficult for the current administration to win the next general elections of Ghana.
According to him, the disappointment and failure of this administration is too much on Ghanaians to give them another chance.
He said, he wishes there will be a change in government come 2024 because he cannot be on the same side as the supposedly ‘defacto’ Prime Minister. He can’t be with the same team and in that respect, there must be a change, he said.
Speaking on the frontline of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as we heard towards the next elections, the former Chairman of the Inter- Ministerial Committee Against Illegal Mining said, the President Nana Addo is a strong political leader and we had somebody who was supposed to be a strong economic leader.
He said the two of them combined did not take us to where we wanted to go as a country, now one is going, so how do we keep the other one he asked.
According to him, he cannot tell whether the NPP lied to Ghanaians or not.
