Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West constituency in the Greater Accra region, Hon Ursula Owusu Ekuful is calling on delegates and Ghanaians as a whole to retain most of the experience Members of Parliament (MPs) in the upcoming elections.
According to her, the exit of experience MPs from both sides will hinder the work of parliament after the next elections.
Speaking on Adekye Nsroma monitored by @onokwafo Yaw Asiedu on the upcoming elections, the Minister of Communication indicated that, the new ones coming needs the well experienced ones to learn parliamentary business from them because the work in the house is not as seen but very practical.
Hon Ekuful said MPs like Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu of Suame constituency, Joe Ghartey of Esikado Ketan and others will be missed for their good work and experience when it comes to parliamentary business.
She indicated that, she was very disturbed in her first time in parliament but as time go by, she has garnered experience and ready to continue when given the opportunity by her constituents again.
Again, she requested for the current female members to be retained because they even need more to balance the equation.
