As the 2024 general election is approached, the minister for communication and digitalization Ursula Owusu Ekuful is calling on the National Communications Authority NCA and the National Media Commission NMC to heightening the supervisory roles in monitoring the media space.
She stressed the need for measured content to prevent the dissemination of material that can cause chaos.
The minister advocated for a balance between media freedom and responsible content creation in the lead up to the election.
