Chelsea Striker sent home from international duty due to injury recovery.
Chelsea Striker Armando Broja has been sent home from international duty with Albania for still recovering from a knee injury sustained.
Albania head coach Sylvinho made the revelation when interacting with the press.
“As for Broja, I have to give bad news, he was with the team for only two days. After consulting with our doctors and Chelsea’s, he can’t make it, he won’t be ready for tomorrow. We have other players to evaluate.”
The Chelsea striker recently returned from a long-term injury, and is gradually working his way back to full fitness.
Broja is the second Chelsea player to be sent home from international duty, after Axel Disasi was sent away by the French national team with what seemed to be an injury.
Chelsea will be hoping that both players will be available for their match against Arsenal immediately after the international break.
