Ghanaian pastor and actor Timothy Bentum urges celebrities to take prophecies seriously, reminding them they are not immune to life’s challenges.
Speaking to Graphic Showbiz, Bentum emphasized that credible prophecies can provide guidance in entertainment where fame and fortune lead to many challenges and temptations.
He noted that the entertainment industry brings glamour and personal challenges, including intense criticism and moral dilemmas requiring spiritual guidance.
”It’s important to take seriously the counsel that comes with a prophecy. Celebrities, like everyone else, face life’s trials and a prophetic word can guide them through the darkness of fame.”
Spirituality in the Ghanaian entertainment scene is being discussed, and Bentum’s comments add to this conversation. Wendy Shay and Mr. Drew are among the artists who have spoken about facing spiritual attacks and have advised their colleagues to prioritize their spiritual health.
Religious leaders have emphasized the importance of artists and entertainers taking their spiritual lives seriously, while also urging calm as prophecies are not necessarily true.
