World Cup 2026: Ghana can qualify from Group L easily – Prince Tagoe

Former Ghana international Prince Tagoe is confident the Black Stars will progress from Group L of the 2026 World Cup with ease. Ghana has been drawn alongside European giants England, Croatia, and Panama.

Ghana’s Group L fixtures below:

– June 17: Ghana vs Panama (Toronto)

– June 23: England vs Ghana (Boston)

– June 27: Croatia vs Ghana (Philadelphia)

Tagoe believes Ghana can amass at least five points to secure a place in the round of 32. “None of the countries are easy to beat at the World Cup. We just have to focus on ourselves and ensure we take it game after game at the tournament. For me, it is easy for us to get five or six points to make it out of our group,” he said.

The 2026 World Cup will feature an expanded 48-team format, giving Africa a record nine automatic slots. Ghana aims to advance beyond the group stage for the first time since 2010.
