An economist and fellow at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), Prof. Charles Ackah has urged the government to block revenue leakages at the ports.
According to him, this will help the government to meet its income target in the 2023 budget.
He maintains the port holds enough resources to enable the government to meet its fiscal projections.
Prof Ackah says, reducing tax evasions could prevent the government from borrowing to meet its target.
