(AUDIO): We will not halt Free SHS today or tomorrow better stop dreaming – Abena Osei Asare

There have been a lot of calls on the government to halt the free SHS since is not going as planned, but the Deputy Minister for Finance and MP for Atiwa East Abena Osei Asare, says there is no need to call for the cancellation of the Free SHS.
According to her, there have been a lot of calls for the cancellation of the policy but it’s just not a wise thing to do.
She said though there are some challenges, the NPP government led by President Nana Addo will never accept the call to halt.

Giving reasons she said the policy is helping a lot of brilliant but needy students who have a great future.
“President Nana Addo said I should tell you that he will not stop the free SHS policy, The NPP government promises to keep it till the end as far as we are on the seat, we will not stop it today or tomorrow, “she said.
