The Member of Parliament for Adansi Akrofuom Constituency, Hon. Joseph Azumah, has stated that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta cannot distance himself from corruption allegations.
Speaking on UTV’s “Critical Issues,” Azumah expressed surprise that the government hasn’t frozen Ofori-Atta’s assets, hinting at his alleged involvement in corrupt activities.
Hon Azumah accused Ofori-Atta of mismanaging public funds and collapsing indigenous companies during his tenure.
He claimed Ofori-Atta’s own party MPs had called for his removal due to corruption and mismanagement, but the issue was hushed up because they were in government.
He advised investors to be cautious when dealing with companies linked to Ofori-Atta, implying potential risks associated with such transactions.
