Hon. Joseph Azumah Challenges Critics to Review Past Budget, Highlights NDC’s Progress

The Member of Parliament for Adansi Akrofuom Constituency, Hon. Joseph Azumah, has dared critics to review the 2024 budget presented by the former NPP administration, saying it had “nice names” but yielded no results, unlike the current NDC administration’s budget, which prioritizes the country’s and its people’s welfare.

Speaking on UTV’s “Critical Issues” show, Azumah praised the current Finance Minister and government for their efforts to reset the country.

He cited the Accra-Kumasi highway project as an example of abandoned projects being revived by the current administration.

Hon Azumah challenged the former administration to account for their unfulfilled promises, questioning which projects they completed during their tenure.

He noted that his constituency lacked good roads during the NPP’s 8-year rule, despite the MP, DCE, and other officials belonging to the same party.

The Hon. MP emphasized that the current administration is committed to delivering results, with many abandoned projects being completed. He urged Ghanaians to support the government’s efforts to drive development and prosperity.
