Real Tamale United (RTU) players have reportedly started their pre-season with the club yesterday after refusing to report to camp on Tuesday as expected.
The players receding in the Northern part of the country trained yesterday, with the rest in the South expected in Tamale by tomorrow.
RTU was expected to start their pre-season on Tuesday but players refused to report to camp over unpaid salaries.
RTU has been financially challenged since last season.
Gaffer Shaibu Tanko has left the club after rejecting their contract extension.
Swiftly, RTU appointed Black Maidens head coach Baba Nuhu to steer the affairs of the club.
RTU escaped relegation last season on the final day after beating Hearts of Oak by 4:1.
