Renowned Ghanaian gospel musician and Physician Assistant, Philipa Baafi, has made a powerful comeback with her new single titled “W’apegya Me Nhyira Mu.”
Released on Sunday, September 7, the song is already making waves on social media, with fans posting heartfelt videos and covers across TikTok and YouTube.
Speaking on Ahotor Mmre with Obaapa Janee, the “I Go Dance” hitmaker revealed that the song was inspired by her faith and personal experiences.

“Every song I release comes from the Bible, from God, and from life’s journey. ‘W’apegya Me Nhyira Mu’ reminds us that even when people rise against us, they can never stop what God has destined,” she shared.
Philipa further explained that sometimes enemies refuse to leave our lives because they sense what God is about to do — yet, in the end, God’s blessings still come to pass for all to see. “When the hand of God is upon your life, no one can stop your destiny,” she emphasised.
The song touches on themes of betrayal, rejection, and life’s challenges, while offering a powerful reminder that God’s purpose always prevails. Philipa described it as a message of encouragement and strength, meant to lift anyone who feels discouraged or forgotten.
With this release, Philipa Baafi continues to affirm her place as one of Ghana’s most inspiring gospel voices — spreading messages of hope, faith, and divine assurance through her music.
“W’apegya Me Nhyira Mu” is now available on all major digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, and YouTube.
