The National Democratic Congress in the Wa central constituency has celebrated its gallant polling stations agents for their immerse contribution to the party during the just ended voters registration exercise conducted by the electoral commission.
Addressing the Agents mostly youth at the occasion on Saturday August 8, 2020 at the party’s youth secretariat, Youth Organiser of the NDC in the Wa Central constituency, Abdulai Ibrahim, charged the youth to put out their best in getting the NDC power to salvage Ghana from the hands of the elephant family.
He threw caution to leadership of the party that the youth will not countenance on any leader who might want to sit on the success of the youth after the party is been voted into power, advising any leader who is planning for such to kindly stop or incur their wrath.
Mr. Ibrahim further indicated that, 2021 if Ghanaians ceded power to the NDC the youth must be given attention irrespective of their academic qualification sighting that the ruling New Patriotic party do a little or not at all consider academic credentials of their youth before giving them appointment quizzing that, if such people can work under NPP why should the NDC deny its own youth on basis of academic qualifications.
Meanwhile, the Upper West Regional Organiser of the NDC, Hon. Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha who represented the regional chairman of the party at the ceremony assured the youth that the party is grateful for the job well done adding that, the party will not look down upon them when it comes to power.
He indicated that, the party is working hard to rescue the five seats the party lost to the NPP in the 2016 general elections, he was optimistic that the party will take back the seats and win all the 11 parliamentary seats in the Upper West region.
