American rapper and businessman 50 Cent has marked the 57th birthday of fellow music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs with a social media post.
50 Cent shared an image of Diddy on his social media page, accompanied by Stevie Wonder’s classic birthday song, Happy Birthday.
He captioned the post: “Happy 57th Bday Diddy wishing you many more, LOL.”
Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, is celebrating his birthday at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, following his transfer from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
The music mogul is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the federal Mann Act. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
The conviction followed a highly publicised federal criminal trial involving allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse. Diddy has continued to challenge his conviction through the legal process.
Despite his legal troubles and imprisonment, Diddy remains one of the most influential figures in American hip-hop, having built a successful career as a rapper, record executive and entrepreneur.
50 Cent’s birthday message has attracted attention online, bringing renewed focus to the two entertainment personalities and their long history in the American music industry.
