Ghanaian dancehall and Afrobeats star Stonebwoy is set to make another international impact as he features on the soundtrack of an upcoming Hollywood action-comedy film titled Boyz Trip, scheduled for worldwide theatrical release in 2027.
The award-winning musician features on a song titled Wrong Toes, alongside American recording artiste Mashanda Faust and Atlanta-based musical group Hero The Band. The collaboration brings African and American musical influences together through international cinema.
Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla, began gaining attention in Ghana’s music industry in the early 2010s. His 2012 debut album, Grade 1, and 2014 album, Necessary Evil, helped establish him as a leading name in Ghanaian dancehall.
He later released successful projects including Epistles of Mama (2017), Anloga Junction (2020), 5th Dimension (2023) and Up & Runnin6 (2024). His music has earned him major recognition, including the 2015 BET Award for Best International Act.

Over the years, Stonebwoy has collaborated with international stars such as Sean Paul, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, Burna Boy and Stormzy, further expanding his musical influence beyond Ghana.
His 2023 collaboration Manodzi with Angelique Kidjo also won multiple awards at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
His latest Hollywood soundtrack feature adds another achievement to his international music journey and creates an opportunity to introduce his distinctive Afro-dancehall sound to movie audiences worldwide.
