Great Olympics charged GHC 1,000 for court ‘no show’ in GFA dispute

Aggrieved Accra Great Olympics have been charged a sum of GH¢ 1,000 for failing to show up in court on Wednesday in their dispute with the Ghana Football Association.

The Human Rights Court 2 presided over by Justice Anthony Yeboah informed the court that the Accra-based club had written seeking an adjournment because their Lawyer Kwesi Austin was ill and had an excuse duty to that effect.

Olympics indicated in their letter that they were short served and needed time to file a supplementary affidavit.

The judge adjourned the matter to 15 March 2018 and indicated that the application for interim injunction would be heard and ruled on.
