NDC’s registration process is free- Anita Desoso

Vice-Chairperson of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita Desoso has advised members going through the party’s registration process not to pay money to any officials. She further stated that charges for the registration have been taking care of by the Leadership of the party.

 

Speaking on Ahotor FM’s morning on Wednesday, 10th January, 2018 the vice chairperson admonished party members to visit their various branches or polling stations for the registration process.

 

According to her members will be charged GHC1 which will have a 20% of the amount retained at the various branches for the welfare of members.

 

Responding to the various complaints from the beaches, raised on the show, Anita Desoso stated that there are three electoral officers who are neutral and would not stand for the election.

 

“Party members should not stay home but to voluntarily visit the polling stations if you have the party at heart, members should go with two passport size photos for the party’s card, one will be registered without a photo but the card will delay until you present a photo for easy identification”

 

“I encourage sympathizers who will go through the registration process to support the party in monetary terms through the new shot code system #713#40” she stated.

 

Anita Desoso also further stated that there is a monitoring team set up to collect all information and problems noted at the various polling stations. There is a technical group also in place to help with the smooth registration process.

 

She again stated that diaspora members will be given the chance to register at their foreign branches.

 

The vice chairperson advised the polling stations that are yet to receive their registers to exercise some restrain and for their turn.
