The 2024 Presidential election will be battle on credibility, trust devoid of lairs and deceit. There is a wakeup call to rescue Ghana from mismanagement and corruption. The New patriotic Party (NPP) government does not think about Ghana. Under the leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo you can do anything to survive.
The National Communication Team Member Dela Edem said this on Simpieso political talk show programme on Ahotor 92.3 FM hosted by Emmanuel Amartey (Alaska De Don) in Accra.
He said the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Mahamdu Bawumia has lost the credibility, forgetting that, in his capacity as a Vice President, he is now a leader of the party and his comments on national policy issues must change with seriousness.
Ghanaians have comes of age and will not buy into his comic political deceit and lairs again. He must speak the reality in the country with apt to find lasting solution to numerous economic challenges facing the country.
Dela Edem is of the view that, reacting to the 24 hour economic policy espouse by the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahamah, I expect him to speak as a leader with pragmatic alternative on the subject looking at him as the leader of the economic management team where he knows the reality of economic hardship Ghanaians are going through; it’s very unfortunate and bizarre he start the journey of the campaign with comic satire and jab without any substance.
Speaking on the same platform Kenneth Kabu Kofi Kanor, Regional Communication Team Member of National Democratic Congress said the NPP government has caused disservice to this country with an act to ruin this country through corruption by collapsing the cocoa industry.
The financial instruments and assets of the Cocoa board have been ruin with corrupt and fraudulent transaction to bring the country financial position to a halt.
He opined that, most of the cocoa roads are in deplorable state, and for the past seven years the government can never accounts for any successful project completed under cocoa roads in the country.
Kenneth Kabu Kofi Kanor, said going forward he can confidently say that Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has no credibility again.
The reality confront the country right now is to think outside the box to create more employment avenue for the youth who are going through hardship looking for non-existing jobs in the city. He said under NPP the industrial sector is projected to underperform with -2.2% and to change this, he believes the policy of 24 hour economy can bring some respite to the dyeing economy under the NPP
Kenneth Kabu Kofi Kanor, reiterated that, credibility, trust and honest is missing in the leadership of the NPP and the party is built on deceit, lairs and deception. This he said will not fly going into 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
