Aspiring Assembly Member for Kyebi Ahenbronom electoral area in the Abuakwa South district of the Eastern region, Yahaya Alhassan popularly known as Mallam Yahaya says he is vying for the position to help his electoral area when he gets the nod on December 19.
According to him, he did a lot of consultation before deciding to contest for the slot this year.
“I have realized that there is a lot in me that I can do personally to help the people in the area, aside from what I will lobby from the assembly in terms of development,” he said.
Speaking in a one-on-one interview with the Radio 1 morning show dubbed ‘Oman Yi Mu Nsem’ with Nana Kwabena Addo, Mallam Yahaya made some revelations and what he will do to bring people, especially the youth together that will churn into development.
The aspirant who is also the head of sports at Radio 1 mentioned supplying exercise books to students, organizing free health screening every six months to help boost the healthcare in the area, clothing the widow every year, and celebrating national festivities with them as well.
He called on voters in the Kyebi Ahenbronom electoral area to give him the nod come December 19 indicating his number on the ballot paper as 4.
